About

The bedding industry has not evolved with the times. For generations we’ve been sleeping on fabrics that absorb and hold on to moisture.

We believe it’s time to consider skincare as part of the bedding equation – especially knowing what happens to your skin during sleep and how your skin interacts with common bedding textiles.

Our bodies are constantly producing moisture.

The technical term for this is transepidermal water loss (TEWL).

Common bedding textiles like cotton love water. The molecular structure of cotton is attracted to the molecular structure of water, resulting in a fabric that holds onto moisture. This is a problem because when fabrics get wet, they stick to your skin.

Increased friction means more pulling, more drag, and more stress on your skin... so much for beauty sleep.

That’s why we started researching yarn properties and fabric constructions. Our goal is to leverage textile technology to develop solutions for long-term skin health. We're paving the way for a new revolution of sleepcare bedding ... and that's just the beginning.

Our Philosophy

We believe that taking care of your skin is an important component of overall wellness. When you look good, you feel good. And when you feel good, you can be good at what you do and in turn do good for others around you.

How it all began.

Allison Howard

After noticing that her skin looked “slept on” first thing in the morning and remembering her grandmother who always slept on a satin pillowcase, Allison became curious about fabric properties and what actually happens with skin during sleep.

Armed with a background in chemical engineering, Allison began looking into this common issue. Today she is engineering new fabrics and launching a revolution in bedding that optimizes skin health and contributes to overall wellness.

Company Mission

We exist to give skin conscious consumers a new way to care for their skin. By integrating simple skin science principles into the creation of fabrics, we aim to not only revolutionize the textile industry, but also to create a new way for consumers to maximize skin health. Because when you look good, you feel good. And when you feel good, you can be good at what you do and in turn do good for others around you. That's comprehensive wellness.
